The SUNY Adirondack Women's Soccer team came up just short on Monday afternoon against Columbia-Greene Community College, losing 3-2.
Amanda Everett got things going early for the Timberwolves and scored her third goal of the season in the 6th minute off an assist from Taylor Ringer to take a 1-0 lead. The lead would turn into a 2-1 deficit going into halftime. Columbia-Greene added one more after the half to take a 3-1 lead. Kylah Lindgren was able to net her team leading fifth goal of the season in the 77th minute to cut the lead to just one goal. It was a hard fought battle by the Timberwolves who had their chances but came up just short at the end.
Following the loss, the Timberwolves are now 1-9-1 on the season and will look to bounce back on Wednesday when they will host Vermont Technical College, game time is set for 2:00 PM.
