FULTON, Miss. – The Indians picked up a 6-3 victory over Co-Lin at the Johnson-Partlow Tennis Courts on Tuesday.
ICC took a 2-1 lead after doubles play with Luca Hoffmann and Santiago Diaz picking up an 8-4 win in No. 2 doubles while Ben Orr and Sawyer Ritchie took No. 3 doubles, 8-5. Joan Mateu Ramis Pascual and Knox Waterer dropped No. 1 doubles, 8-6.
In singles play, Ramis Pascual took No. 1 singles in a 7-5, 7-5 decision. Waterer followed with a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 2, and Diaz with a 6-2, 6-1 victory for No. 3. Orr took No. 5 with a 6-4, 7-6 (6) victory to get the Indians their sixth win of the day. Co-Lin took wins at No. 4 and No. 6 singles.
The Indians will be back at the Johnson-Partlow Tennis Courts on Friday, February 28, when they host Meridian for an 11 a.m. match.
