Lady Roadrunners golf opens spring season

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners opened their spring season with a pair of students-athletes competing as individuals at the DCC 4HIM Classic at the par 70 Walnut Creek Country Club in Mansfield, Texas on Monday and Tuesday, February 26-27.

Freshman Ava Kirkpatrick shot an opening round 94 and followed that up with an 85 in round two for a total of 179 to finish 25th.

Freshman Marlee Andrews shot an opening round 104 followed by a 99 in round two for a total score of 203 to finish tied for 34th.
