Golf Posts 344 in Day Two; Currently Ninth at Nationals

The Hudson Valley Community College men's golf team stayed the course with a 344 during the second day of the 2024 NJCAA Division III Golf National Championship on Wednesday afternoon at the Chautauqua Golf Course in Chautauqua, NY.

The team remained in ninth place in the team standings with a combined team score of 686 after 36 holes. The Vikings had four individuals shoot better than 90 and were led by Jonathan Reynolds, who finished the second round with a score of 83.

Cameron France improved upon his opening round score, posting an 84 on Wednesday afternoon and has a two-day total of 170. Joshua Carr is tied with France with a 170 two-day score after he posted an 88 today.

Owen Hampson and Matthew Valoze rounds out the team as Hampson finished with an 89 and Valoze tallied a 91.

The Vikings are back in action for day three of the NJCAA championships with Jonathan Reynold leading off tomorrow, Thursday, June 6th at 9 AM.
