No. 17 men's tennis improves to 4-0 with win over Paradise Valley
Mesa, AZ – Picking up their third shutout in four matches, the No. 17-ranked Mesa men's tennis team ran its record to 4-0 with a 9-0 win over Paradise Valley Tuesday.
Beto Carlon continues to impress with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Cameron Meinhart at No.1 singles. He has not yet lost a set.
No. 2 Leandro Prado also improved to 4-0 with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Tyler Baron. Prado, too, has not lost a set.
Meanwhile, Cameron Khan and Max Beasley took 6-0, 6-0 wins over their opponents. Khan won at No. 3 and Beasley at No. 5.
The doubles teams of Carlon and Khan, as well as Prado and Beasley, both went to 4-0 on the season with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.
The T-Birds will return to action quickly, hosting Pima Thursday at the MCC courts at 1:30 p.m.
