Suns Baseball Splits Final Two Games in Richland Series
The CVC Baseball Team rallied to win game three in their Metro Athletic Conference series against Richland after dropping games one and two. 
 
The Suns suffered back-to-back losses in the series after being edged in game two, 7-5. Grant Moore went 3-4 from the plate hitting a home run and notching an RBI.
 
Cedar Valley secured a win in game three, 8-6 after scoring seven of their eight runs in three of the final four innings. 
 
Blair Hankins and Billy Rogers each had three hits, with Hankins adding a team-high two RBIs. Three Suns scored at least two runs (Moore, Daniel Quintanilla, and Jamison Totten). From the mound, Blake Birdwell earned the win and Ryan Foley got the save.
 
Coming up, the Suns will take on Texas Wesleyan in a Monday afternnnon slate.
