The Jayhawk Baseball team committed 6 errors on the way to a 16-5 loss to Kalamazoo Valley Community College at Lakeshore High School in Stevensville.
MCC found themselves down by 8 runs early before scratching out 3 in the bottom of the 3rd and adding 2 more in the bottom of the 7th to get close, but KVCC put up 7 in the 9th to close out the game. MCC was out outhit as the Bruins put up big power numbers with 6 home runs. Nate Lovell (Tri-County) was the leading hitter for MCC; he finished 2-2 with a home run and 2 RBI.
MCC is 3-13. They travel back to Lakeshore High School for a rematch with KVCC on Thursday, 3/17. First pitch is at noon.
