Wasson Ties for 3rd in Dual With Augustana JV

GALESBURG — Ellie Wasson tied for third individually as the Carl Sandburg College women's golf team hosted a dual meet with Augustana JV on Tuesday at Lake Bracken.

Wasson finished with a 17-over-par 90 for the Chargers, who totaled a 381 to finish 19 shots back of the Vikings.

Olivia Schwingle was fifth with a 93 for Sandburg. Lainey Jensen — playing as an individual — was sixth with a 95, and Anna Duden placed seventh with a round of 97.

Augustana JV's Flynn Hartigan was medalist after carding an 85 and finishing two strokes ahead of teammate Ciera Krogman.
