Kirkwood Finishes Season at Nationals

Cedar Rapids, IA- The #3 seed Kirkwood Eagles began the 2024 DII National Tournament with a win against Carl Sandburg. The Eagles dropped the first set but mananaged to take the next three sets convincingly to take the match 3-1. Up next in the quarterfinals was Gulf Coast State. Kirkwood would lose the match 3-0, marking the first time the team had been swept in the 2024 season. They would bounce back with a win against Grand Rapids in the lower bracket, however, they would lose their final match to Parkland 1-3 to end their season. Marissa Cahoy would make the All-Tournament Team for the Eagles. The Eagles finished 36-8.
