
NIACC's Droll earns all-region honors
CRESTON - NiACC freshman Juliana Droll placed 12th and earned all-region honors Friday at the NJCAA Region 11 Division II meet at the Crestmoor Golf Course.
Droll covered the 5-kilometer course in a time of 22 minutes, 14 seconds.
NIACC placed third in the team standings with 80 points. Southeastern CC and DMACC tied for the women's Division II title with 30 points with the Blackhawks claiming the regional title on a tie-breaker.
Also for the Trojans, Taja Conley was 14th (22:47), Sarah Lunning was 15th (22:52), Hannah Lunning was 18th (23:25), Skyila Shuryan was 21st (24:56), Cloey Usher was 23rd (25:07), Maggie McBride was 24th (25:36) and Riley DeGonia was 25th (26:02).
Droll earned honorable mention all-conference honors for placing 20th overall (combined Division I and Division II).
