Scottsdale would rally again and take the lead 9-8 before going back to trading points with the Statesmen. The Artichokes would take a narrow 13-12 lead late in the match, but RBC would make a comeback and eventually win the 5th and final set by the score of 16-14. Scottsdale will finish the year with a record of (26-2), ACCAC Conference Champions, Region 1 Champions, West District Champions, and NJCAA Division II National Runner-Up.
