Bowling Wins Hauck Memorial Classic

The Hudson Valley Community College bowling team won the SUNY Westchester Walter J. Hauck Memorial Classic with a team score of 6,086.

In his first collegiate match of his career, freshman Daniel Goldston had a career day as he dominating in all three aspects of the tournament. Goldston bowled a grand total of 1,195 and won the singles event, the overall event and doubles with teammate Aaron Wilcox. The duo combined to score 1,142 in the doubles portion of the game.

Taylor Masterson had a great day at the lanes as she bowled a 1,044 over the course of six games during the day. Wilcox finished with a 1,006 over his six games.

The bowling team aims to build on today's win as they travel to participate in the Mohawk Valley Hawk Invitational tomorrow, Sunday, January 21 in Utica, NY.
