Men's Basketball prevails in 2OT thriller behind Osei's Triple-Double

The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team won a thriller on the road, topping Emmanuel College JV 94-89 in double overtime. With the win, the Eagles improve to 11-9 in the 2022-23 season.

Sophomore Sean Osei scored 18 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and dished out 10 assist to secure his first triple-double.  He also hit clutch shots at the end of regulation and the first over time to keep the Eagles alive.

This was a complete team performance as sophomore Isaac Snyder led five Eagles in double-figures with 25  points. 

Fellow sophomores KJ Walker scored 16 points and Nick Hardin added 14 points, hitting 5 combined three-pointers. Sophomore Justin Whitening scored 11 points for the Eagles.

The Eagles will look to get their first conference win of the season when they host NJCAA number 1 ranked Sandhills Community College on Saturday, February 4th. Tipoff will be at 1:00 pm.
