Women's golf competing well at all-four-year RJGA Shootout
Goodyear, AZ – Playing in a tournament with all four-year NCAA Division II or NAIA teams, the Mesa women's golf team stands in 13th place among 15 teams at the Ruidoso Junior Golf Association Shootout after the first day of play.
The tournament is being played at the Golf Club of Estrella.
MCC shot a 319 Monday and leads Chico St. and Fort Lewis. The T-Birds are only two shots out of 11th place.
Abby Schmidt and Jolie Guyette are tied for 20th place individually with three-over-par 75s.
The event concludes Tuesday.
