The Lakers stayed local for this weekend's swim meet against Iowa Central Community College and Loras College. While the meet didn't start off too hot the Lakers pulled multiple personal best times and even an event winning race!

Freshman Luis Ramirez-Armas finally broke the 1 minute barrier in the 100 free and pulled off a personal best of 58.56. Sophomore Rylee Valentine rocked the 200 Backstroke and Freshman Pedro Brandao dominated the 200 yard Breaststroke, winning the race with a 2:15.62. The Lakers stayed strong through the rest of the meet.

The Lakers Swim and Dive team will travel to Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Thursday November 16^th to compete against D1, D2 and other big schools to achieve times for our National Championship!
