MEDIA, Pa. - The Seahawks picked up their first victory of 2023, downing the Delaware County Phatoms 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Jose Santillan-Cruz found the net for the contest's only goal early in the second half. The freshman tucked away a lobbed ball from sophomore Akeil John.
Cecil's defense looked strong, limiting the Phantoms to just three shots over 90 minutes. Aidan Hayes made all three saves to earn his second consecutive shutout.
The Seahawks move to 1-4-3 with the win.
