Wolves Blank Bulldogs

WESSON – The Co-Lin Men's Tennis team returned to MACCC play hosting Holmes on Tuesday, March 18. The Wolves picked up the win beating the Bulldogs, 9-0.

In the doubles matches, Ege Altas (Istanbul, Turkey) and Jake Bucek (Geelong, Australia) won one doubles, 8-0, while Tristin Rollins (Brookhaven) and Robert Adcock (Brookhaven) won two doubles, 8-2. Simon Cooper (Sumrall) and Mason Brand (Mantee) won three doubles, 8-0.

In the singles matches, Altas took one singles with two 6-0 sets while Bucek won two singles, 6-0 and 6-1, with Adcock winning three singles with identical 6-0 set scores. Brand won four singles, 6-3 and 6-0, while Cooper won five singles at 6-1 and 6-0 with Jax Leggett (Bogue Chitto) won six singles at 6-2 and 6-0.

Co-Lin improves to 5-7 overall, 4-3 in MACCC play, and will return to action hosting Meridian on Friday at 11 a.m.
