The Cyclones had a tough run as they fell 6-3 to Illinois Valley Community College.

There were just some matches the Cyclones couldn't close out despite their pressure. No. 1 singles and doubles ultimately ended in a forfeit when the opposing player pulled out with an injury. The only other victory was from Victoria Maratea at No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-4).

"We played well, but Illinois Valley edged them out a bit, which happens," said Head Coach Matt Marusarz. "I think we're just looking forward to and are excited for the region tournament to start already."
