Reis Johnson Finishes 2nd in the Nation!

School record holder Reis Johnson continued her stellar season with a national runner-up finish at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Nationals held this past weekend in Gainesville, Florida.

Reis vaulted 3.51 meters to place 2nd in the competition!  She will now get ready for the outdoor season to see if she can double up her All-American status.  Reis did not participate in track and field last season as she was the starting shortstop on the Tri-C Softball team but decided to go back to her true love of pole vaulting this season.

Jacarla Black (26th place in 400M) and Jaylynn King (17th place in Weight Throw) also competed.  The Indoor Nationals contain all JUCO track programs regardless of their division.
