Women place 2nd, men 10th at Redhawk Rumble
Mesa, AZ – The Mesa men's and women's golf teams wrapped up their fall seasons by playing in the primarily four-year Redhawk Rumble, sponsored by Benedictine (AZ) Monday and Tuesday at the Las Sendas G.C.
The T-Bird women placed second in the six-team field shooting a 330-338-668. The men placed 10th among 11 schools with a 301-326—627.
Presley Pickron led the women, finishing fifth in the field of 28 with an 82-76—158. Abby Schmidt tied for eighth place at 79-87--166 and Viviana Holguin tied for 10th, carding an 81-88—169.
Among the men, Ray Ramirez paced MCC tying for 49th place among 64 players with a 75-82—157. Jake Walden tied for 51st at 72-86—158 and Tomas Ribeiro tied for 55th with an 87-72—159.
