NJCAA Office Promotions

Charlotte, NC - NJCAA President & CEO Dr. Christopher J. Parker has announced staff promotions within the National Office. The updated roles of office staff create a new structure and opportunity for growth within the National Office that will lead to an increase in efficiency and effectiveness.

"With the restructuring and promotional aspects of the National Office staff, the NJCAA looks to increase the efficiency and success rate of what we do. In our efforts to provide opportunities to student-athletes and member colleges through the NJCAA, it is crucial that our office staff reflects those efforts and is intentional with who is leading those," stated Dr. Christopher Parker, NJCAA President and CEO. "Having the right people in leadership positions will lead in the success of the National Office which will then play a role in the success of the association as a whole."

  • Christopher Haley, who joined the National Office in 2023, has been promoted to Vice President for Membership and Development. In this new role, Haley will oversee and lead day-to-day operations of membership management including renewals, new member onboarding and cultivation while also leading efforts for non-membership revenue growth and overarching partner and sponsor management. Haley will continue to oversee and lead day-to-day operations, planning, execution, and follow-up of the annual Convention and other special events. He is also now a Co-Assistant Director of the NJCAA Foundation and will have a hand in the fundraising aspects.
  • Entering his seventh academic year with the National Office, Rod Lovett has been promoted to Assistant Vice President for Sports Governance and Regional Leadership. In addition to his oversight of sportsmanship enforcement (non-collegials, ejections, all other sportsmanship issues in regular and postseason), Lovett will also oversee and lead communication and direction for regional leaders as well as be the primary liaison for the Sports Governance Committee and Sport committees. He also serves as Executive Director of the Coaches Association.
  • Current Athletics Communications Associate, Kyle Eager, has been promoted to Marketing and Communications Manager. His responsibilities have been adjusted to the oversight and leading of day-to-day operations of marketing, athletic communications, and video services. Eager will continue to serve as the primary contact for all division II sports while also being responsible for review and oversight of main operations for marketing and internal and external communications.
  • Kalyn Fetter, current Championships, Sports, and Events Associate, has been promoted to Championships and Events Manager. Fetter will oversee and lead day-to-day operations of championship operations including preparations for championships, relationships with championship hosts, execution of championship events and member college customer service and championship bid process. She will continue to be the primary contact for all division I sports while also now serving as the National Office liaison to the Championship Events committee.
