NJCAA announces new partnership with USCAH

Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced a partnership with U.S. Council for Athletes' Health (USCAH) as the Official Athletic Healthcare and Safety Consultant of the NJCAA. USCAH will present educational sessions at future conventions and they will also advise and consult with the Health and Safety Council.

NJCAA member colleges will receive a 20% discount on standard membership and assessment rates while also receiving benefits and complimentary access to USCAH content and expert consultation.

"The U.S. Council for Athletes' Health is excited to partner with the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association and its member institutions in collaboration around athletic healthcare and safety initiatives," says James R Borchers, MD MPH, Co-Founder & President at USCAH. "We are confident that this relationship will continue to provide programming that will see the advancement of athletic healthcare and safety for not only student-athletes but for all the constituents and stakeholders in each individual institution, college, and for the association as a whole."

USCAH offers the NJCAA access to Athletics Healthspace, an athletic healthcare compliance platform that enables athletic organizations to deliver healthcare education to student athletes, coaches, and athletics administrators through assessments, training, and third-party support.

In addition, USCAH offers the Athletics Healthcare Administrator Association (AHAA) membership admission to the individuals interested in athletic healthcare administration - including athletic trainers, team physicians, and administrators - within each NJCAA institution. This exclusive platform is designed to provide independent services and programming to Athletic Healthcare Administrators to ensure members and properly administer optimal healthcare and safety for their athletes while remaining compliant with each organization's requirements.

"The safety and well-being of our student-athletes has always been a top priority," stated Dr. Christopher Parker, NJCAA President & CEO. "With these resources and the expertise from USCAH, we will be able to maximize the presence of health and wellness within our association while providing our member colleges with the necessary tools surrounding athletic healthcare and safety."
