Scranton, PA - Tonight's NJCAAE Valorant match was played on Bind and right away Lackawanna College went to work on Gogebic. In last week's match, the Falcons were a bit hesitant to push onto site but tonight they were much more comfortable and aggressive with their attacks. The opening few rounds consisted of Nathan "Quakian" Ayers and Edwin "Axomaly" Acosta using Skye's utilities to move onto B site, allowing the rest of the Falcons to charge in and clear house. Gogebic began to catch on to the Lackawanna College strat and was able to halt those aggressive pushes in order to win back 2 rounds on their defensive end. Logan "BeddyLogo" Bednash began to catch fire on Cypher and managed to pick up several 3-piece eliminations during tonight's match as well as a huge clutch save when the odds were stacked against him. Michael "MaRs" Bochnovich brought his Odin out to play again tonight and was causing havoc, spraying down the Samsons at every corner. After one slip up from AJ "gummypwns" Smith when he solo-ulted/team-killed Axomaly in our final attack rounds, the score was 10-2 in Lackawanna College's favor going into our defensive rounds. Gogebic had a spark of life in their opening attacks, winning two rounds in a row and decreasing their deficit to 4-10. The Falcons dug in and planted their feet after those shaky rounds and managed to win out the remaining 3 rounds in order to seal the victory in tonight's best of 1 matchup.
