The NJCAAE Board of Directors is composed of six members. The members include leaders from the NJCAA National Office, NJCAAE member colleges, a Collegiate Sports Management Group (CSMG).

To serve the association as a whole, NJCAAE established committees to oversee and guide a number of initiatives as they relate to the student-athlete experience. These committees, comprised of both NJCAA leaders from member institutions, meet regularly to move the association in a positive direction.
