West Plains MO to host DI championship

Charlotte, NC - The NJCAA has announced the upcoming hosts for the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championships.  West Plains, MO will serve as the host for the championship tournament in 2020 and 2022.  Hutchinson, KS has been awarded the championship bids for 2021 and 2023.

The City of West Plains will host the event in conjunction with Missouri State University-West Plains.  The championship will be held at the West Plain Civic Center from November 19-21, 2020.  

“This is obviously great news for our community,” said Community Marketing Director Todd Shanks. “Any time a city can attract a national event, it creates a tremendous amount of publicity and awareness about your community on a national scale.”

West Plains has a long history of hosting the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championships, serving as host from 2001-06 and 2010-12.

The 2019 NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championship will be held at the Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, KS.
