Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has awarded Harford Community College its host site for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 NJCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship and Women's Lacrosse Invitational.
Harford Community College will host the championship and invitational at the Harford Sports Complex in Bel Air, Maryland from May 9-10, 2026, May 8-9, 2027, and May 13-14, 2028.
"Harford Community College is honored to be called the home of the NJCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship and Women's Lacrosse Invitational through 2028," said Ed Liesch, Athletic Director of Harford. "Our focus is to provide the student-athletes, teams, and fans with a memorable tournament experience. Through our partnership with the Maryland Sports Commission and Visit Harford, we want to create an atmosphere that will bring back lacrosse fans for a very long time."
Harford previously hosted the Men's Lacrosse Championship in 2023 and will be hosting the men's championship and women's invitational in 2024 and 2025.
Harford Stadium is a 1,400-seat field turf facility that is the home for the men's and women's soccer and lacrosse teams. The stadium was built in 1968 and updated with an artificial field turf surface in 2007. Harford Stadium also contains a press box, electronic wireless scoreboard display, and a new LED lighting system.
"The Harford Sports Complex continues to provide an incredible space for NJCAA student-athletes to compete," stated Brian Luckett, NJCAA Senior Vice President for External Affairs & Development. "Harford has previously hosted quality championship experiences for our student-athletes, coaches, and fans and we look forward to how they will continue to improve and develop this championship and invitational."
The 2024 NJCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship and Women's Lacrosse Invitational will be held at Harford Community College in Bel Air, MD from May 11-12.
