Football Players of the Week - (Oct. 9-15)

Colorado Springs, Colo.- This week's NJCAA Football Players of the Week featured the top performances from nationally ranked teams. Three players were honored for their play on the field, announced by the national office on Wednesday. 

Mekhi Sargent set a single-game rushing record for No. 1 Iowa Western to land offensive recognition. No. 11 Snow (UT) picked up its sixth victory of the year as  Connor Taylor dominated on the defensive end of the field. Spencer Cole earned special team honors after contributing in all facets of the kicking game to keep No. 4 Hinds (MS) undefeated
