Football Players of the Week - (Oct. 2-8)

Colorado Springs, Colo.- A busy Week 7 saw plenty of action across the board for NJCAA student-athletes. This week's Football Players of the Week were honored for their play on the field.

Lindsey Scott Jr. of East Mississippi produced over 500 yards of total offense to go along with six total touchdowns to earn offensive honors. Freshman  Sam Moala of Pima (AZ) had a career day with 13 tackles and a touchdown return on the defensive front.  DeMichael Harris's 91-yard kickoff return in the closing minutes kept Hinds (MS) undefeated and earned him the special teams award.
