Suns Baseball Suffer 2-1 MAC Series Loss to North Lake
The CVC Baseball Team were bested two games to one in their latest Metro Athletic Conference series against the North Lake Blazers this week. 
 
The Suns suffered a game one loss to the Blazers on Wednesday afternoon, 12-4. CVC held a 4-3 advantage going into the eighth inning, before allowing nine unanswered runs by the Blazers to close the game.
 
Leaders for CVC included Jamison Totten with two runs and Grant Moore with two RBIs. Daniel Quintanilla went 3-4 from the plate with one RBI.
 
Cedar Valley responded in game two with a 3-0 victory. Noah Lynch went the full nine innings in the shutout win, throwing ten strikeouts and allowing only four hits. Totten, Nick Balley, and Billy Rogers all scored runs for the Suns.
 
In the final game of the series, NLC defeated CVC in a 9-5 come from behind win. Balley and Quintanilla had two runs and two RBIs, respectively.
 
Next up, CVC will travel to face Dallas Christian in a doubleheader.
