Mustangs take down the Skylanders 84-69

Montgomery County Community College men's basketball improved to 2-0 on the season defeating Sussex County Community College 84-69. After a slow start to the game the Mustangs began to build momentum after John Dinolfi knocked down back to back 3 pointers on his way to a season high 13 points. The Mustangs would take control in the 1st half jumping out to a 21 point lead and leading 38-19 at the half. Brandon Bush came of the bench to score a game high 23 points capped off by an emphatic putback dunk to make it 55-36 with 10 minutes remaining. Cris Diinolfi and Bassil Saunders both added 14 points a piece to help thwart Sussex comeback attempt. The Mustangs are back in action Thursday November 16th when they travel to Delaware County Community College to take on the Phantoms at 7 pm.
