CUTHBERT,Ga. -- Dalton Kuhn pitched four-hit ball over 5 inninings, and struck out 7 to even his season record at 3-3 on the year, and Chandler Raiden knotched his 4th save on the year, as the Tigers dropped Georgia Highlands 6-2 in game one on Saturday at Hord. The Tigers fell 17-3 in game two.
Michael Branche doubled, hit his second home run in two days, and drove in two runs with three hits to pace the Tiger attack in game one. Anthony Young, Mike Warren, and Deion Sellers each had 2 hits and 1 RBI, as the Tigers rolled up 11 hits, while Kuhn and Raiden limited the Chargers to only 5 hits and two unearned runs, while striking out 9.
Blake Rupp and Warren each had a pair of hits in game two, while Sellers doubled in a pair of runs.
The Tigers take on West Georgia Tech next week, with a single game on Tuesday at Hord, then a single game Friday and a double header Saturday in Douglasville.
