On Tuesday evening women's basketball recognized six sophomores for their dedication and commitment to The River these past two years. Sophomore Angelica Flores finish the year making First Team All-Conference and Kiandra Hooks earned second team.
In a high energy matchup against the top seed Miami Dade, the River came out competing each quarter making the contest extremely competitive. The River finished up the season with a 93-84 lost against Southern Conference Champs.
Sophomore Kiandra Hooks lead all scorers with 22 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assist and 4 steals. Kierra Patrick contributed 19 points and 10 rebounds for her third double double of the year.
The River finished the season 3-27.
