Monster games from Koranga, McGuire lift No. 5 Apache Ladies by KC
Felmas Koranga put on another All-America show, pacing the No. 5 Apache Ladies to a 93-81 win over rival Kilgore College on Saturday at Masters Gymnasium in Kilgore.
Koranga hit for 30 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and just missed a triple double with eight blocks. Her performance helped No. 5 Tyler Junior College to its 14th consecutive win.
Along with returning All-American Koranga, freshman Niya McGuire had a huge breakout game. The forward from Monroe, Louisiana, hit on 11 of 13 shot attempts in scoring 27 points. She also had eight rebounds and a blocked shot.
