The 2022 RCSJ Roadrunner Men's Tennis team defeated NCAA III Arcadia University at their Glenside, PA campus, ending the dual match season with a 13-2 record as they head into this weekend's Region 19 Tournament.
RCSJ won 2nd doubles (Rocky Caselli & Colin Christoff) and 3rd doubles (James Keenan & Ben Konyak) for a 2-1 lead heading into the singles matches. Jason Petrin (#3) and Collin Christoff (#5) won in straight sets to give the Roadrunners a 4-2 lead but Arcadia tied the score with wins at #1 and #4.
With the match tied, #6 Ben Konyak came through with a decisive 6-1 third set to clinch the match for RCSJ by a 5-4 score.
RCSJ Tennis heads to Mercer County Park this Friday and Saturday for Region IX Regionals.
