Baseball Rallies to Claim DAC Series vs. Richland, 2-1

After falling in game one, the CVC Suns Baseball Team rallied to claim games two and three in their first Dallas Athletic Conference series of the season against the Richland Thunderducks. The Suns improved to 6-4 on the season.  

In the game two victory, the Suns earned a 10-9 come-from-behind win over RLC. Jose Castillo had a game-high four RBIs and three runs in the win with three hits in five at-bats. Charles Bass was awarded the win, while Billy Rogers earned the save from the mound tossing five strikeouts.

Game three saw CVC defeat Richland handedly, 8-3.  Seven different Suns crossed home plate including Ryan Ratliff who had a game-high two runs and a home run. Leo Aguilar and Jamison Totten each had a game-high two RBIs for CVC. Jacob Rothenberg earned his first win of the season with a strikeout and allowing only five hits and one run in six innings pitched.  

The Suns will take a break from DAC competition on Tuesday when they face Southwest Collegiate Prep.
