The Lady Red Devils watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 13-1 loss to Seminole State College on Friday. Seminole State College scored on an error, a home run by Kristen Prieto, a home run by Sadi Avants, and a home run by Macy Smith in the first inning.

The Lady Red Devils took an early lead in the first inning. Morgan Wayman drove in one when she singled in the first inning.

Seminole State College took the lead for good with five runs in the first inning. In the first there was an error, scoring two runs, Kristen Prieto homered off of Dela Boyd, driving in one run, Sadi Avants homered off of Boyd, driving in one run, and Macy Smith homered off of Courtney Gard, driving in one run.

Seminole State College scored six runs in the second inning. Seminole State College's big inning was driven by a error, a home run by Prieto, a double by Haley Pomplun, and a double by Smith.

Mary Grider earned the win for Seminole State College. She threw five innings, surrendering one run, six hits, striking out one, and walking one. Boyd took the loss for The Lady Red Devils. She pitched, giving up four runs, two hits, and walking one.

Home runs for Seminole State College came when Smith homered in the first inning, Avants homered in the first inning, and Prieto homered in the first and second innings.

Winter Henry led The Lady Red Devils with two hits in three at bats.

Seminole State College had 11 hits in the game. Prieto, Smith, Avants, and Pomplun each collected multiple hits for Seminole State College. Prieto went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Seminole State College in hits. Seminole State College was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Alexis Freeman made the most plays with four.
