Women's Basketball posted a ferocious comeback at Chattanooga State on Wednesday, but it fell just short as they fell 66-64 to the Lady Tigers.

The Lady Cougars were down by as many as 12 in the second half, but came back to cut the lead to just six points late. Asjah Harrell knocked down a three-point shot to make it 63-60, and then Za'kkria Robinson powered through the paint to score a contested layup and make the score 63-62. However, the Lady Tigers were able to make a critical free throw and layup to pull away and secure the win.

Harrell scored a team-hig 21 points and also chipped in a team-best five assists along with two rebounds and a steal. Za'kkria Robinson led the team with 10 rebounds while also scoring 18 points paired and also posting a steal. 

The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Saturday, as they host Dyersburg State in their home finale and on their Sophomore Night. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 ET.
