NPCC Women's Basketball 63-77 against Lamar CC

The North Platte Community College Knights Women's Basketball team played an away game against Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colo. and lost, 63-77.

NPCC's Ashley Hassett posted 21 points and Janay Brauer scored 12 points.

"Tale of two halves. We came to play in the first, but not the second. Our defensive effort and intensity in the second half were nonexistent; however, we have a week to figure things out and get back to work," said NPCC head coach Jeff Thurman.

The Knights will next play Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Neb. on Monday, Feb. 3 at 5 p.m.

NPCC is now 9-13 on overall season record.
