The CVC Suns Baseball Team split in the final two games of their Dallas Athletic Conference series against the Mountain Views Lions this weekend, defeating the Lions in game two and falling in game three. Jesus Fraga threw a complete game two-hit shutout in game two tossing four strikeouts for a 13-0 Suns' victory.
Also in game two, Dakota More had three runs, with Blake Birdwell and Chandler Boyd both tallying three RBIs.
CVC fell to MVC in game three, 13-2. More and Billy Rogers each scored a run, while Boyd and Isaia Diermier each had an RBI.
Up next, Cedar Valley will take on LeTourneau (JV) in a doubleheader on Monday.
