Apache Ladies split matches

The Tyler Junior College Apache Ladies, ranked No. 17 in the nation, split two matches on Friday in the Rose City Volleyball Classic at Wagstaff Gymnasium.

In the first match, TJC dropped a 3-2 decision to unranked Hill College. The Rebels won 25-16, 25-23, 19-25, 16-25, 15-13.

The Apache Ladies bounced back to knockoff No. 9 Missouri-West Plains, 3-0. TJC won 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.

TJC (1-1) returns to play on Saturday, hosting Temple at 1 p.m.
