TROY, NY… The Genesee Community College women's soccer team fell 5-0 to the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings Thursday afternoon in the NJCAA Region III Semifinals.

The Cougars put five shots on net, all stopped by Hudson Valley's goalkeeper. Julia Ashworth, Diante Scheepers, Autumn Ressue, Isabelle Porter, Macie Riggs, and Peyton Sargent all attempted shots during the rainy contest in Central New York. Madison Papaj made 15 saves in net for Genesee.

Genesee finishes the season with an overall record of 10-7 and 3-1 in Western New York Athletic Conference play.
