NPCC Women's Basketball loses to Central CC

The North Platte Community College Knights Women's Basketball team played against Region IX rival, Central Community College, in Columbus, Neb. and lost narrowly, 57-62.

NPCC's Emily Joseph scored 16 points and Janay Brauer posted 10 points.

"We just did not get it done today. We gave up too many second chance opportunities and struggled scoring the ball. It was not a good day for us," said NPCC head coach Jeff Thurman.

The Knights will next host McCook Community College on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 5 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium, during NPCC's Community Mentoring Night.

The Knights are now 8-10 on overall season record.
