Box Score (EPHRAIM, Utah) -- The 15th ranked Snow College Badgers opened up Western States Football League play with a 64-17 pasting of the Glendale Gauchos Saturday night.
D'Arman Notoa racked up 156 yards rushing and three touchdowns, while quarterback
Shane Johnson passed for 253 yards and rushed for 83 more in the victory. All totaled, The Badgers racked up 708 yards of total offense.
Defensively, linebacker
Connor Taylor tallied eight tackles and a sack, while safety
Daymon Murray recorded eight tackles against the Gauchos. In addition, wide receiver
Jeremiah Beverly finished with 120 receiving yards, including a 78-yard TD pass from
Shane Johnson.
Snow improves to 3-0 on the year and 1-0 in conference play as they get ready to face the 6th ranked Mesa Thunderbirds next Saturday, September 16th, in Arizona. The game can be heard on the Mid-Utah Radio Network as KMTI AM 650 & 95.1 FM at 7:30pm for the pregame, 8pm kick-off.
