Spartan Men Can't Overcome Slow Start in Loss to Central Lakes

The M State Men's Basketball team got off to a slow start in their home opener on Tuesday and couldn't recover as they fell to the Central Lakes Raiders, 84-64.  The Spartans fell behind 43-24 at the half and couldn't close the gap in the second half as they struggled with their shooting, hitting just 32.8% (22-67) of their field goal attempts and making only 5-of-26 (19.2%) from 3-point range.  Central Lakes shot 45% (27-60) from the floor and had only 9 turnovers on the night.
