NJCAA Foundation conducts inaugural board meeting

CHARLOTTE, NC – The NJCAA Foundation, the fundraising arm of the NJCAA, recently conducted its inaugural board meeting and selected the Executive Committee of the Foundation. The board also approved the Foundation's mission, objectives and by-laws.

The Executive Committee of the NJCAA Foundation is comprised of a Chair, Chair-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer. Committee assignments and committee chairs will be selected at the next quarterly meeting.

Executive Committee:

Chair: Timothy Britt, Senior Vice President, Wells Fargo

Vice-Chair: Dr. Karen A. Stout, President & CEO, Achieving the Dream Inc.

Secretary: Dr. Kathy Turpin, President, K. Turpin Consulting, LLC

Treasurer: Tracey Hill, Director of Treasury Services, First Reliance Bank

"It is very exciting to begin this endeavor with the great leadership we have in place on the Foundation Board of Directors and now our Executive Committee," stated NJCAA Foundation Executive Director Brian Luckett. "After our first meeting and establishing of our framework, the NJCAA Foundation is ready to make an impact on two-year collegiate athletics."

NJCAA Foundation Board Chair and Wells Fargo Senior Vice President Timothy Britt shared his enthusiasm for the new Executive Committee. "There is a great team in place full of innovative and successful professionals who are excited to advance the NJCAA. We look forward to working with one another and the NJCAA Foundation staff to make an impact on student-athletes and two-year colleges across the country."
